Summer school 2023.
During the week of June 12-16, the Summer School within the project took placeParks - The Green Umbrella of Timisoara.

Students from 7 schools in Timis county, students and teachers from the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Technologies, participated in:
-
seminars on mitigating climate change, ecological agriculture, ecology, etc.
-
installation of plaques (including Braille) with the names of plants in 2 parks in Timisoara,
-
tour of the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Technologies

Summer school 2023.
We are happy when our passion for preserving and beautifying the green space is shared, even more so when it comes to the young generation.
Several student volunteers and students of the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Technologies from Timisoara contributed to the completion of the landscape in Rozelor Park and "Ion Creanga" Park.
Inside the project Parks - The Green Umbrella of Timisoaraand, the volunteers mounted signs with the names of the plants and shrubs, with the support of our colleagues.
1000 signs were installed, of which 200 were written in Braille.

SEMINARS
We have started the activities within the Parks project - Green Umbrella of Timisoara!
Seminars will be held in 5 high schools in Timis county.
​
Children learn in an interactive way about the effects of climate change, their influence on us and what each of us can do to help protect the environment. Also, students learn about the importance of landscaping in the urban environment and how it improves our perception of the space in which we live.

We also went to Faget, where students from Traian Vuia High School participated in seminars on the impact of climate change and landscaping!
